Making just his second run down the quarter-mile at a national event in a Top Fuel dragster, Antron Brown sped to the head of the sport's quickest and fastest class on Friday during second-round qualifying for the NHRA season opener.
The former Pro Stock Motorcycle rider, who is making his Winternationals debut, clocked in at 4.495 and 330.07 in his Lee Beard-tuned rail, much better than the 4.560-second clocking at 326.16 mph that he turned on Thursday, which put him 10th in the 17-car field
