J.R. Todd and his John Stewart-led Torco/Lucas Oil team rebounded from ricocheting off the retaining wall yesterday in the NHRA Top Fuel qualifying at the Pomona Raceway at over 295 mph to manufacture a new car overnight that performed flawlessly in today's time trials resulting with a time of 4.570 seconds at a speed of 327.74 mph, putting him in the No. 12 position in the competitive lineup.
